The ocean series.


Traveled from coast
To coast
Experiencing different textures of sand,
Exploring carved out spaces,
And washing my hands in the waterfalls that meet the sea.
Danced under the clouds,
And beneath the creatures.
Experienced their habitat,
And heard their voices.
I’ve stumbled upon death,
And witnessed young life.
They’ve ignored me,
And closely observed my movements,
All while continuing on with their lives.
Some connections never formed into a friendship,
And some took a more playful approach.
But the one thing I can’t get enough of,
Is how the sun and the ocean embrace each other.
Whether it’s rising or setting,
Or if the clouds decide to play along as well,
The sun and the ocean
Will forever be my favorite display.
